Logistics employee
Do you like practical work and making a lot of meters on a working day? Then you are the new logistics employee that DSIT is looking for! We are immediately looking for a new colleague who wants to take responsibility in a team for checking all incoming and outgoing goods and keeping our 5000m2 warehouse in Almelo in order.
What are you going to do?
At 08:30 you open the warehouse together with your colleagues (and a cup of coffee). You keep an eye on incoming goods and you ensure that they end up in the right place in the warehouse. Depending on the size of the goods, you take the reach truck or a pallet truck. Having a reach truck certificate is certainly nice but certainly not a requirement! We sell many different products, so you never know exactly which goods are coming in or going out. This makes your work varied. Transporters arrive throughout the working day. All outgoing goods must be ready for shipment. In between, you also have close contact with your colleagues in the internal service to ensure that stocks are correct and (urgent) shipments are arranged. Your working day ends at 5:30 PM when the last transporters have left and the warehouse can be left tidy for the next day.

- Has 2-5 years of relevant work experience;
- Is eager to learn and is interested in the entire logistics process;
- A go-getter who goes the extra mile during peak times;
- A down-to-earth person who also likes a joke in between;
- Has an eye for detail and optimization.

- Picking orders
- Supporting our assembly team
- Preparing large and small orders for shipment
- Keeping an overview of our warehouse and stock
